Dr. Robert A. Buonfiglio, Optometrist

    Originating from a family that has served the eye care needs of the Boston and North Shore area residents since 1927, Dr. Buonfiglio brings the experience and dedication his family has been known for, along with the kind of personalized care and attention that's becoming hard to find these days.  His areas of expertise include the fitting of specialty contact lens designs and binocular vision.  His lifelong involvement with photography includes photographing sports since he was in high school.

Gary G. Kalloch, RDO 

     Gary has over twenty years in the optical field, including the operation of several stores with complete optical laboratories.  His extensive experience and caring enable him to help you select eyewear suited for your needs while giving you a precise appraisal of your options, without packing on items you don't need.  In addition, Gary's years of coaching youth baseball and basketball, as well as participation in fishing and shooting sports, give him great insight regarding the visual needs of the athlete.

Our Practice

Prattville Eye Associates was founded in the Prattville area of Chelsea, Massachusetts, by Dr. Daniel Kuperstein, then continued by his son, Dr. David Kuperstein.  During their time in practice, Prattville Eye became known as a friendly, family-oriented practice.  And Dr. Buonfiglio and Gary seek to continue the tradition of topnotch eye care in a convenient, comfortable setting.

We are on a never-ending quest to build upon our services by adding new technologies and products.  The recent additions of computerized visual field examinations, and remote spectacle frame tracing (which allows us to make new lenses for your own frame - without your having to leave the frame with us!) are just a couple of the ways in which we keep working to improve the ways we serve your family's eye care needs.
